Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Minutes Guides (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and purchase downloadable PDF guides and related digital content.
Last updated: July 30, 2026
1. Who we are
Minutes Guides operates an online storefront for digital PDF guides. For privacy requests, contact hello@minutesguides.com or visit our Contact page.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Name and email address used at checkout or on contact/lead forms
- Messages you send for support or feedback
- Account details for administrators only (not required for purchases)
Information collected automatically
- Basic device and browser data, IP address, and approximate location
- Pages visited, referring URLs, and interaction events used to run and improve the site
- Order identifiers, product selections, amounts, and fulfillment status
Payment information
Card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Stripe may receive billing details needed to complete the transaction under its own privacy terms.
3. How we use information
- To process orders, deliver download access, and send purchase confirmations
- To provide customer support and respond to requests
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To operate, measure, and improve the storefront
- To send product availability or marketing messages only when you have opted in, with an unsubscribe option
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location, we may process information based on contract performance (fulfilling your purchase), legitimate interests (securing and improving the service), consent (optional marketing), and/or legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We share information only as needed with:
- Stripe — payments and fraud prevention
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (such as Vercel and Supabase) — to run the website, database, and file delivery
- Email delivery providers — if configured, to send transactional purchase or support messages
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
We do not sell personal information.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies for security, session continuity, and checkout. If analytics are enabled, we may use tools such as Vercel Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure visits, checkout starts, and purchases for advertising and storefront improvement. Meta and its partners may receive device and event data under their own privacy terms. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break checkout or downloads.
7. Downloads and order records
After payment, we create entitlement records so you can download purchased PDFs. Download links may expire or be limited for security. We retain order and entitlement records as needed for fulfillment, accounting, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, tax or fraud records).
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted server access to private files, and signed short-lived download URLs. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@minutesguides.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also unsubscribe from optional marketing emails at any time.
11. Children
Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the age required by local law). If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can delete it.
12. International users
Our operators and service providers may process data in the United States or other countries. If you access the site from elsewhere, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.
13. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy, except where consent is required by law.
